Hello,
I hope you had a good few weeks.
It’s been a while and I was missing my weekly write-ups.
It’s been the travel and the work that’s keeping me really busy. October went in a jiffy.
I’ve also decided to take a few days off the digital world.
It wasn’t as if I felt that I was too addicted but I thought it would be a good break and to actually know if I’m not addicted or not.
I think more than anything it was just becoming a chronic habit to open Instagram or other social media sites each time I picked up my phone. And to see updates I was actually holding the phone every second of the day.
Initially I thought to delete but then decided to deactivate the accounts as the apps reminded me that there are pictures more than a decade old of which I might not even have a copy so I just put on the deactivate button.
How the technology traps you!
And now last few days I totally forget where I have even kept the phone because there is no urge to feel connected every second.
I think my mind is feeling a bit relaxed and I think it’s important to take a few days off for oneself.
Have you tried it ?
Earlier also I had stopped using Instagram/Facebook for sometime and it was nice to know that I don’t miss or miss out on anything.
Anyway, let’s see how much time I feel I need this time to myself.
It’s gotten very cold this week and finally winters are here.
All the summer clothes are packed off and woollens are out to brave the coming winters.
November was supposed to be a saree month for me, but because of the cold I gave up mid way.
The year is about to end now and I am going to go through the list of New Year’s resolution I prepared last year as well as making a mental note of one for the coming year.
I’ll share my takeaways soon of this year’s list, let me know if that interests you.
Wishing you a very Happy Diwali.
Sharing a few pictures that couldn’t make it to Instagram.
Happy Diwali Ma'am... Looking forward to your Diwali write-up!
Happy Diwali Mam .🪔🙏🏻
