I hope you had a good week.
I had an extremely busy work week.
I’ve recently started to do morning yoga and it’s helping me a lot with physical as well as mental well being.
I used to practise yoga regularly when I was preparing for the exam as well, and when I was in school and I even started doing again during the training in the academy but somewhere along I switched to playing badminton and forgot all about it.
Now, living in the hills and specially in a city where it rains every other day, running is not an option so after ignoring fitness post partum I finally committed myself to morning yoga.
I’ve had a lot of back ache issues since last year or so because of long sitting hours and travel in the hills that can be very hectic. And in the past one month it has completely vanished, I feel. It’s also given me a reason to wake up early and bought in order and discipline and a has fit perfectly in my morning routine.
If you are someone who cannot commit to going to a gym because you have responsibilities at home and can’t spare the travel time, I recommend starting work out at home. I thought I’ll write about it once I cross the threshold and I can actually call it a habit.
With yoga naturally comes meditation, which I often get asked if I practise any.
I don’t practise yoga for any goals to achieve but it brings immense physical and mental peace for me and I hope that I can continue it as a lifestyle for myself.
Do you do any sort of exercise or play a sport ?
As a kid one is so physically active all the time but as one grows up health becomes least of our priorities.
Another thing I’ve observed is that one tends to become conscious of the kind of food one is eating while one is exercising.
So it’s an overall package.
And for me it’s the perfect solution to my desire of waking up early that I had harnessed for many years.

I am currently preparing for CSE and will be giving my attempt in 2025, before starting preparations I was continuously playing RUGBY from past 8 years but now with preparations it is very difficult to practice and I've put on lots of weight.
